The fighting game will have the basic modes that many suspected, such as 'Arcade' and 'Training' modes, but there are also a number of features that come as somewhat of a shock. Last, but certainly not least, a list consisting of both All-Stars' game modes and features was released. The armaments also give representation to franchises that otherwise wouldn't appear in the game, so the inclusion of Wipeout's Gravity Shield and ModNation Racers' Sonic Rift are appreciated. Bountiful amounts of weapons from several of Sony's intellectual properties have found their way into Battle Royale, and it sounds like they'll contribute to the final package rather nicely. The current list of non-playable support characters is as follows:Īs previously mentioned, an updated list of items was also revealed. These characters will show up in the background of select stages, and a few will even interact with the fighters. While some fan-favorite sidekicks will not be playable, there are plenty scheduled to appear as something that SuperBot is calling 'minions'. Leaked characters such as DmC's Dante and Metal Gear Revengeance's Raiden were surprising, yet very much appreciated, roster additions, but many fans have been hoping that other characters from their games would show up in Battle Royale as well. Everything sounds rather enticing thus far, but it's the current list of minions that tells us who we can cross off our All-Stars wish list.
